SOME WORDS ABOUT HOST RANKING

There are plenty of Websites available where you can find a Host ranking and reviews and where you are asked to visit a Host for a sign up.
We checked out dozens of directories, trying to find out what methods and what prioritys the directories  use to rank the Hosts. 


There is no uniform system how a ranking is made, due to the fact that every directory is a independent Website with his own procedure analyzing, reviewing and then ranking the Hosts. There is a is a different ranking result at each directory.

 

You will find the EXACT SAME HOST ranked in directory A as Nr. 1, and in dIrectory B as Nr. 7 ?!

Based on this fact we believe that the rankings in the directories just help to separate the overall best Hosting companies from the rest, AND THAT OUR RANKING METHOD IS A BETTER, MORE CONSUMER ORIENTED WAY TO ELABORATE A HOST RANKING. 

A ranking result at any directory should by no means be the only reason for a client to decide a Host. 

OUR UNIQUE RANKING SYSTEM

The idea was to make a CROSS CHECKING of the rankings at 10 different directories (see directories below), something that most probably everybody who is seriously looking for a Host, is doing anyhow.

 

For that you don't have to spend endless hours reading reviews to understand the different ranking results, we did a selection over our Ranking system ranking the Who is Who in Hosting for you. This, together with our short reviews about the key facts will save you time and money.   

Some of the directories we selected for our cross checking are issuing Host Awards, exposed at the Hosts Website. We picked all mayor directories available but reserve the right to expand or modify the selection if necessary. 

Like alrady told our simple system analyzes the ranking results at 10 directories. We check at each directory which Host get which rank and how many times he is ranked as Nr. # 1, Nr. #2 , Nr. # 3 ...... and so on till Nr. 10.

This Cross Checking give us as result the overall best ranked Hosts in Industry. The TOP 3  Hosts are specialy exposed at our Home page, the whole list you can see by using the link "See Host Ranking"  above here.

There are a few other Hosting companies, ranked at the directories but not in our list. We will see to include themes at one of our future Updates. WE WANT TO BE VERY CLEAR THAT WE ARE NOT INFLUENCED BY ANY HOST TO BE INCLUDED IN OUR RANKING LIST OR IN THE RANK POSITION.

  
Our ranking system works exactly the same way like the country ranking at the Olympics. Thats the reason why we call our top ranks  # 1 GOLD, # 2 SILVER and # 3 BRONZE.  It's that simple.
